Please plan to join us for the 24th Annual Northeast Arc Users Group Conference (NEARC) in Nashua, New Hampshire from October 4-7, 2009! The NEARC Executive Board, ESRI, and the New Hampshire Host Committee have been working diligently to put together a program that our sponsors, and the entire GIS community, will appreciate for its innovative features.

As in past NEARC conferences, user presentations reveal the diversity and depth of GIS activity in the northeast region, and highlight the emerging technologies that make our profession so interesting and exciting. Back by popular demand, the "GIS in Education," program will be offered on Sunday for a full day of pre-conference activities. The program tracks include papers and presentations for virtually any field and any level of expertise, from novice user to experienced application developer. The Exhibit Hall, ESRI technical workshops and Doctor's Office will round out the conference agenda. Of course, NEARC would not be NEARC without the social networking activities, and this year is no exception; be sure to visit the special activities section to see what we have planned.

ESRI Post-NEARC Training - Thursday & Friday, October 8 & 9
ESRI Instructor-Assisted Video Training (IAT) for NEARC Attendees!
8:30 am - 5:00 pm

For the convenience of NEARC attendees, ESRI training courses are being offered immediately following the conference on October 8 & 9 at the Radisson Nashua. The classes will run a full day from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

In an Instructor-Assisted Video Training class, students watch video-recorded lectures and demonstrations and complete hands-on ESRI software exercises at their own pace. Using video-recorded lectures allows several topics to be taught simultaneously in the same classroom environment. An experienced ESRI instructor with expertise in the course subject matter is available in the classroom at all times to answer questions, explain concepts, and provide guidance.
