| 2009 Call for Presentations |

The Northeast Arc Users Group will hold its 24th Annual Conference, October 4-7, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire.
The conference will feature keynote sessions, vendor demonstrations, poster displays and over 60 technical workshops and user presentations. The conference is expected to attract over 500 users of Geographic Information System software utility professionals and government government agencies that use geographic information to help with decision-making and problem solving on a daily basis.
If you are interested in submitting a presentation proposal for the conference, criteria is listed below. Abstracts will only be accepted online. |
| Presentation Format |
- Oral Presentations: are either 20-30 minutes in length or 1.5 hours long.
- Panel Presentation: can include up to 3 presenters, but you must
submit the complete presentation concept as part of your abstract.
- Poster Presentations: will be given space of no more than 4’ x 6’ and
must be free standing (we will provide you with an easel). Awards will be given to the top poster presentations.
- Workshop: intensive 1.5 hour workshop on a specific topic.

| Online Submission Requirements |
- Abstracts will only be accepted here.
- The presentation cannot market specific products and services.
- Abstracts should be 150-200 words. Include in the document a final line listing a series of up to 5 keywords that best capture the content of the presentation.
- The presentation’s scope and originality must be of interest to a broad audience.
- The submitted abstract, if accepted, will be posted on the NEARC website, and will be printed in the final conference proceedings.
- Presenters must register and pay to attend the conference at regular conference fees. Conference registration information will be mailed in late spring 2009.
- Abstracts must be submitted by June 1, 2009.
